Infused with 10 years of engineering, the latest addition to the Atlas family of vehicles only makes the Atlas more formidable. The addition of the Dragon-Tank weapons systems gives the Titan a powerful offensive punch, making it a formidable tank for any mission.
In a recent tweet from GotFrag, a new screenshot from the Atlas’ testing phase was revealed, showing a variety of new toys and mounts. The screenshot shows a new tank ship which GotFrag’s source described as “An armored drakon tank that looks like a drakon but drakons are dragons!” In addition, a drakon mount was also shown, as well as a drakon-themed spider.
As of this week, turtle ships are a reality in Grapecard’s early access someday-MMO Atlas. What is a turtle ship, exactly? That’s one tanky boat. Unfortunately, it isn’t a turtle at all.
“Not only is she a tank, fully armored and ready to take a beating,” the studio claims, “but she also provides some unique usefulness that will actually alter the combat landscape.” “A dragon figurehead is attached to the front of this enormous ship, which players may trigger to spew clouds of smoke to hide your fleet’s movements.” Clearly, the dragon should have been a turtle, but such is life.
There’s a lot more to the patch than turtles. It also includes spiders — superhuman spiders that can now vertically climb walls, which is seen as a positive thing unless you hate spiders.
“We heard you enjoy buffs, so we’ve added various buffs to buff towers to help your fleet in specific ways as required. Buff towers now offer an extra benefit depending on the kind of resource utilized, allowing you to obtain advantages where they are most required. Do you need some corner handles? To enhance your turning power, use Amethyst and Herkimer in your spire. Do you need to lighten your load? Change to Calcite and Quartz, which will reduce a ship’s total weight (items and structures carried included). Overall, we hope pathfinders will utilize these new features to complement their own play styles and make each encounter memorable.”
Dust up your spider saddles and polish your ship shells, because the newest Atlas patch has some fantastic new features for you! Click the link below to see what’s coming up, including another Rate Up event: https://t.co/9K0sppzM1o
