Baltimore Ravens Radio Analyst Peter Schammburg was caught off guard when a fan entered the booth during his broadcast on Thursday night. The analyst had seen one of his guests in line for a signing and was not expecting anyone else to enter without permission, but he took it in stride with a playful banter.
The “ravens lions delay of game not called” is a story about the Ravens radio analyst getting so nervous that he panicked and asked what the person was doing. The story has been picked up by many news outlets, including ESPN.

Big plays abound in the Cincinnati Bengals-Baltimore Ravens game at M&T Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. Nothing enraged Ravens radio color commentator Obafemi “Femi” Ayanbadejo more than a fan attempting to enter the broadcast booth towards the conclusion of the first quarter.
A tense moment, followed by 17 seconds of silence
“What are you doing, what are you doing, what are you doing?” “What are you up to?” Ayanbadejo cried, his voice trembling. Those statements were followed by over 17 seconds of unnerving quiet, as you can hear in the audio recording below. It was all aired live on WBAL (1090 AM, 101.5 FM in Baltimore) before Ayanbadejo’s co-host Gerry Sandusky returned to explain what had happened.
“If you were paying attention, Femi said, ‘What are you doing?’ ‘What exactly are you doing?’ He didn’t speak to any of the players or coaches. He went on to say, “We literally had a fan attempting to jump into the broadcast booth.” “‘I’m a veteran, and I’m searching for a drink,” she said.
Ayanbadejo joked, “Yeah, I don’t provide beverages during the game.” “I’m thinking of making some drinks at home, but this isn’t the time or place.”
Before returning to the action on the field, Sandusky said, “You just never know what’s going to spring up or who’s going to show up on game day.”

Baltimore’s five-game winning streak is snapped by the Bengals.
As for what happened during the game, it’s not surprising that the Bengals (5-2) were able to win, but few could have predicted the margin of victory, as the Ravens fell to 5-2 and into a tie for first place in the AFC North with the Bengals.
The Ravens’ main problem is that they couldn’t stop the Joe Burrow-Ja’Marr Chase connection, with the rookie first-round wide receiver—selected No. 5 overall out of LSU—catching eight catches for 201 yards and a score on ten targets.
Joe Burrow, a second-year quarterback, completed 23 of 38 passes for 416 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception. C.J. Uzomah, a wide receiver, had a spectacular day of his own, averaging more than 30 yards per grab (3 catches, 91 yards) and scoring two touchdowns.
Cincy’s rushing assault was not exactly contained by Baltimore, as RB1 Joe Mixon had 12 carries for 59 yards and a score, while Samaje Perine added 11 runs for 52 yards and another running touchdown.
What’s Next in the AFC North?
The Ravens will have a bye in Week 8 before returning to play on November 7 against the Minnesota Vikings. Meanwhile, on October 31, the Bengals will visit the New York Jets.
The Cleveland Browns (4-3) will visit the last-place Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3) at FirstEnergy Stadium on Halloween, as will the division’s other two clubs. The Steelers are coming off a bye week, while the Browns beat the Denver Broncos 17-14 on Thursday, October 21.
